Jaguar Vector World water speed record attempt on Coniston Water

World and National Water Speed Record Attempt
for an Electric Powered boat.
Coniston Water – Tues 15th, Weds 16th and Thurs 17th May 08:00 – 16:00 each day – weather conditions permitting.
The event and Record Attempts are run from the Coniston Boating Centre, at the end of Lake Road, Coniston, next to the Bluebird Cafe. The boat will be located in the Boating Centre yard, close quarters viewing is with the teams permission.
The measured kilometre is located about 1km south of the Boating Centre and is best seen from the lake shore near The Priestley Centre, which can be accessed on foot, along the lakeside footpath.
The attempts will run during daylight hours (08:00- 16:00) and when the weather and conditions permit a safe attempt.
Please remember, as with all sporting events, care must be taken when walking in or around the site. Boats might be being moved around the area all times. Please be careful, especially when near the water.
