Bluebird K7 update

An update from the Ruskin Museum:

So a bit more information for you all.

LDNPA have today approved the speed exemption on Coniston Water, this will allow us to run Bluebird K7 on the lake. The dates are 11-17th May 2026.

The reason it is a week long event is because K7 needs fairly calm water to run, so we cannot say what on what day or what time K7 will run until the actual day. That is why we having the event over a week to hopefully have some decent weather and get a few runs in.

We can now start confirming things but we are also looking to put on a weekend of concerts on the 15th, 16th & 17th May. Acts are still to be confirmed.

To reduce the impact on the village we will be having Park and Ride and traffic management in place.

There is a lot to organise and we will keep you updated on social media and the dedicated websites as we have more news.
