Tilberthwaite and Oxen Fell Roads Project – Drop in session
Date: Tuesday 26 February 2019 - 3:30pm
I would like to give you an update on the Tilberthwaite and Oxen Fell roads project, following the letter I sent you in November.
We have recently updated our website and added a frequently asked questions page regarding the Tilberthwaite and High Oxen Fell roads. For further information please see the link to the relevant webpage https://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting/thingstodo/green_roads/future-management-of- tilberthwaite-and-oxen-fell-roads.
I can confirm the two drop in sessions that I previously highlighted will be on
Tuesday 26 February from 3.30pm – 7pm at Coniston Sports and Social Centre, Shepherds
Bridge Lane, Coniston LA21 8AL.
Tuesday 5 March from 3.30pm – 7pm at Skelwith Parish Rooms, Community Hall, Skelwith Bridge LA22 9NW
The drop in sessions will be an opportunity for you to informally discuss the track, view photos and maps and complete an online survey that will be live from the middle of February. There will be staff from the Lake District National Park Authority, Cumbria County Council and National Trust attending the sessions.
We are continuing to monitor the road through data loggers, fixed point photography and on site user surveys.
